That's pretty awesome. I'll bet the proprietors go through the rooms daily, removing vine trailers and other flora.

It's on the banks of the Amazon, and it rains a lot there.
Parrots are on the premises as well as other critters.

Took that trip a few years ago, the Amazon river is fascinating did you see any pink dolphins? The Lodge looks like a great place to stay, I only had a tent on the river bank!! Good shot.

Did see the pink dolphins. Too far off to photo.
We got a nice package tour, so no tenting required. :)
Tour included Lima, Cuzco & outlying areas, and Machu Picchu.

Thanks, Jerry, for commenting. That photo is from a two-week to Peru just over a year ago. Visiting Machu Picchu was the main objective of the trip, but there were lots of other attractions, including a few days on the Amazon.

I visited the same places had a great time, your tour must have been an upmarket one!

Yeah, we splurged a bit and took a package tour. Not normal for us.
