Does anyone use the Nikkor 200-500 mm lens on the D7100? If so, are the photos sharp?

I use it with a D7200 from time to time and I have no complaints.

I just wonder why are you asking. If the operator does his or her job of course that the images have to be sharp.
Sharpness depends more on us than on the lens.

Sharpness depends more on us than on the lens.

So, all lenses are created equal and function equally well on different cameras?

Clearly Camerapapi overstated the case. However, his point that sharpness also depends on the skills of the user is well taken.

You know how it is. Wouldn't be UHH unless posters asked the same questions and received the same answers a million or more times. Remove those posts and this site would be barren. Hmm, that might not be a bad idea.
