Wonderful series!
Thanks, T-P. Your encouragement is much appreciated.
Excellent. The sunset photo shows depth and is beautifully exposed. Great job.

All of your photos are good in my opinion, but your "Sunset Pano" is over the top spectacular! That in my opinion is a contest winner. Thanks for sharing!

Amazing how much one helps with transcendental meditation!
One of my favorite places in this world. I grew up inland from the San Juan Islands and have been going there since I was a kid, spent 3 months at Friday Harbor last year. Thanks for posting these - made me homesick. I have many photos of the Lime Kiln Lighthouse, really liked yours.
<<The lack of sun in the winter would make me suffer big time.>>
The weather in the San Juan Islands is considerably different than in Seattle. The south end of San Juan Island gets only an average of 20 inches of rain a year, the north end 30 inches, about half that of Seattle and a lot more sun. Google "Olympic Rain Shadow" for information.

Wonderful captures! The pano sunset especially arresting!
Fantastic, super nice series, perfectly photographed.
Great shots! Did you see any Orca off the coast at the Lime Kiln Light House?
Fantastic set of images Rick. The sunset pano is nothing short of a masterpiece, worthy of being printed and framed. For me these bring back some memories from childhood. Spent some of those years south of Seattle, not far from Mt Rainier Natl Park. Last visit was in 1999 when I took a ferry through the islands and over to Victoria, BC. That was in my film days, and I don't have those Kodachrome slides anymore.
