We have seen many very beautiful photos of Mesa Arch, but I've not seen any others that have pointed out the Washer Woman Arch as viewed through the Mesa Arch. We lucked out seeing it in the shade with sun behind it, making it much more visible. On the other hand, there are probably not many still among us that would recognize a woman leaning over a wash tub. Dead Horse Point is a State Park, but near that section of Canyonlands National Park.

2. Washer Woman Arch with sun behind it. If I were shooting it again I would frame it with the Mesa Arch.

Awesome captures. It is amazing the difference light and perspective make.
I was up in that area and did a lot of exploring. Somehow we missed the washer woman. It's a great formation! I actually like it in silhouette better, I think. Nicely done.
I have a shot of Washer Woman of to the right with the early, 7 AM, reflecting on the rocks under the arch. Dead horse Point is another awesome place.
You did a nice Job!
Very nice. Dead horse was almost missed, but we caught it on the way out of Canyonlands. Nice captures all!
Great shots. Thanks for sharing them with those of us who will never see them in person.
Beautiful and interesting shots, Luen!
