After reading all the posts from my last conversation about keeping/selling my lenses, my final decision was to get rid of my 55-250 which I never use. I decided to keep all my prime lenses. I am more than likely going to sell my Tamron 70-300 as well. I decided to buy some "good glass" and opted for the 100-400L IS II USM Canon lens. I purchased it through Canon and is a refurbished lens for about $300 cheaper than the going price. It arrived yesterday and though I'm just learning, having had my Canon Rebel T6s for just over a year, this lens was worth every penny. I took the camera down to our pond yesterday and got these wonderful shots immediately. No post editing at all except to crop. I did not go by the Rule of 3rds because I really wanted to see the detail that this lens can make on a shot. And ALL handheld. I just want to thank each of you for all your comments and suggestions.
These are beautiful shots, stenojj!
