This is shot with the Canon 100mm mounted on my new Canon 7D Mark II.
I had a lot of issues with my original Canon 7D and thought it was a crop sensor issue.
This blows that thought totally away.
I shot this at 1:1 and cropped it for 2:1 to show just what I pulled with this combination.
Holy Details Batman!!

PS.. I decided to tempt fate and submitted it to the Critic section to see what they feel as well.
They download is really, really cool! Supersize the download and it is even better yet! Ya' did good!
It looks very good. My only dslr is a crop sensor, and I have not regretted it. Well, maybe in some low light situations but that is about it.
Wow, you really nailed the nasty ferocity of these things. Great job!

Thank you Mark.
When I first started in this forum, no matter what I tried my shots were soft if I was using my 7D.
Douglas and I went round and round about what I was doing wrong.
I put my lens on a 5D Mark II and suddenly my images were sharp and had good depth.
One of those things. I even tried micro adjusting the lens to the camera with mixed results.
This new camera loves this lens.

Thank you very much.
They have been very passive when I shoot them.
I have not had any issues yet but it may be because I ease into the shot and don't make sudden moves.

Thank you,
But as I have said in earlier posts they have been very docile.
I don't know if its my approach or this is just a docile nest.
I don't plan to try and tick them off however.
