Hi, there!
I've recently decided to transfer some files from my camera to the computer via an USB cable. There recorded RAW+JPEG on SD card. But computer read only JPEG files.
My computer is Windows 10 PC; programs used to open picture files both on PC and camera are Sony's PlayMemoryHome and Windows
Explorer. I don't have this problem using USB3 card reader with this card.
Sony phone support rep suggested to download a Sony driver.

Your camera should have come with a disk or info to go to : Windows, www.sony.co.jp/imsoft/win/
Mac, www.sony.co.jp/imsoft/mac/

play memories , www.sony.net/pm/

A image processing software for Sony products is provided by "capture One" it is similar to PS but detailed to your sony camera. Best of all it is FREE, courtesy of Sony.

Happy Shooting

I found the Capture One site for Sony. It is by PhaseOne. It is for Sony Cameras. www.phaseone.com/sony It is free for Sony cameras. PhaseOne makes 22/4 digital cameras based on the Mamyia 645 system. They are a very high end commercial Photography Camera and software company. I have the Sony a65, a6000, and a99ll. I find it quicker and easier to remove my SD card from the camera and insert it directly into my computers SD slot and download the photos that way. Happy Shooting

Thahk you for your help.
All software that you mentioned is instaled on my PC but does not work with my camera connected to this computer. Only moving SD card to a reader was working. I've used this method before posting to UHH.

For my Sony RX100M5, I recently downloaded from their support page, software plus a driver download for viewing Raw on Windows 10.

Uploading card's RAW or JPEG images via reader is my preferred method. I run Win 10 Pro, 64 bit. I never upload by connecting the camera via USB.
