Printer/Paper Profile for Inkpress Baryta Warm Tone

I recently purchased an Espon SC P600, and find that I can't use my favorite paper for BW prints, Inkpress Baryta, because they don't offer a profile for that printer/paper combination. I have tried to contact the manufacturer, but not response. Any clues as to what I can do?

Did you try both manufacturers Epson and Inkpress? You might also re-post your question in UHH's section "Printers and Color Printing" which you can access by clicking the "All Sections" link at the bottom of this page.

There are any number of outfits that offer custom profiles for less than $100. Google the internet for custom icc profiles.

Red River paper has three Baryta profiles for the p600, one might work for you.

I just heard from Inkpress. There was a problem reading my email address. They were kind enough to call me which I really appreciated. The answer to my problem is that the Epson 3800 is a close cousin to my P600. If I specify Baryta Warm tone and Epson 3800, and Enhance Matte Paper, it should work well. Thanks for all your responses.

Inkpress is way behind on paper profiles for current printers. Which makes me think they're not interested in the best possible results from their product.

Here's where you can find the P600 paper profile for Epson's Legacy Baryta paper. I've also added a link about Epson's Legacy papers.

Thanks, I think after this batch of Inkpress I may go of the Epson Legacy papers.

With a Colormunki Photo, you create a profile for any paper.

Just try loading a profile that is very close/similar to your paper and just give it a try, you may like the results, one can also always create their own, but that's a bit "hairy"!
