Yep, just shows the Dem and Repub party are the same group of clowns, just wearing different costumes in the cartoon we call "Our Government". I'd so love to see a 2 consecutive term limit, E4 or 5 across the board pay for all elected offices, and must step down from office if running for another.

Alot of the self serving career scumbags there now would leave the next day.

Not totally. Repukes will throw people under the bus faster.

It was no fluke, his team targeted his campaign to win Electoral votes, her team incorrectly assumed that many of the areas he won were "safely in the pocket" for her. She also didn't correctly factor in the "anyone but Hillary" demographic, or the Bernie voters who either switched away from Hillary or simply didn't vote.

Hillary lost because she, her team, and the DNC assumed she was a shoo-in, so they didn't work as hard as they needed. Also didn't help that the DNC corruption was exposed in the email leaks.

Hillary lost because Vladimir Putin, we're going to find out, squelched the election and, I think, actually changed votes to get Trump elected. No Proof Yet.

Anyway, Trump won't last. Soon, being Trump will trump him, and we'll be rid of the slimy, dishonest and incompetent SOB.

What a wonderful day that will be.

What's the big surprise. Dems have been dignified. McConnell didn't want them in the Obamacare vote, and they don't support Trumpcare. Thery're allowed to differ ain't they? They owe McConnell a lot--bigtime, the slimy SOB. But they never retracted a Democratic Bill just because McConnell supported it, did they?

McConnell is treated much, much better than he deserves.

Yeah, the Dems have all been really dignified. Kind of like a flasher who dresses up his Johnson with a little top hat so he can appear dignified. Their objectives are quite clear and we have a tit for tat battle that most likely will never end.

From the article:
"For Trump personally, I think it’s mostly about the deep insecurity that comes through every time he opens his mouth. It’s why he’s always telling everyone how smart and knowledgeable and accomplished he is, something that people who are actually smart and knowledgeable and accomplished don’t do."

"Eight months after the election, she’s still the yardstick he’s measuring himself against."

He learned that from Obama, who blamed Bush for eight years.

The big difference being that it was well deserved.

Don't try to paint us Dems with a republican brush. Live with your own kind, and suffer for it.

I have no problem with term limits, 'crept it ain't ever gonna happen.

The battle's not supposed to win, like the prosecutor and defense in a criminal trial--they're supposed to compete.

I kind of like the image of dressing up the Jounson with a Top Hat, but politics isn't that interesting.

Actually, Obama didn't blame Bush for eight years, but I will blame the ignorant dufus forever--killed a lot of good people, squandered trillions needlessly, probably made a pretty good profit doing it.

Drinking bourbon was his only ability, and I hope he drinks a ton of it.

It's a shame that you group all of our clowns together. I'm sure that there are a few good ones. Very few...

I do believe that the majority go there with mostly pure intentions, but I just don't believe sombody can spend more than a few years there without getting corrupted. They almost have too to obtain leverage needed to get things done.

I've seen it with friends who have gone into political office, I've heard plenty of stories from friends and acquaintances who have worked in both political parties, who have worked in Both NYS Gov and US Pres. Admins., and in NYS and Federal Legislative offices.

Once again, I'm not Repub, never was, was a Dem most of my life, left it a few years back when the wackos started taking it over, been an Indi ever since. Guess I just grew out of the group think/herd mentality.

I think you've got it!

Actually I had a picture of Mr. Peanut from Planters in my mind, but only the most dignified of the dignified would sport a cane and monocle.

Yeah, well, that's just like your opinion, man.

Anyway, I really like the idea, here.
It's perfectly OK for your man to do it, but the other guy can't, because he's not your man.
Politics, neatly summed up.

Another interesting thought is that to accurately identify what a Pub or Crat stand for is extremely difficult. Some on this forum refer to a moderate Pub as a Lib because they refuse to support extreme stances. A right leaning leaning Crat is scoffed as well. Hard line or get lost! I wonder if they refer to Congressional members of "their party" with supposed denigrating references to the opposite party. If you don't accept their hard line and Kool-aid sessions, you are not a member of their group. Can't figure out why the parties are so fragmented. Good for a laugh...
