Without a good password manager (LastPass), I'd be lost.

I agree Jerry. I have used KeePass for a long time and it really works great.

The only time I have a problem is when a certain site doesn't use the right coding for the P/W program to recognize the need for input. Actually, I use both LastPass and Google to remember passwords.

How do you back that system up in case of loss?

More than one copy, like one in the document safe, one in the gun safe, one in the laptop bag and one at my GF's house.

I was using LastPass when I was using Chrome but had problems with Chrome and switched to Edge. Thanks to that link I just realized they make it for Edge as well now.

Have been using Last Pass for 2 years and it has been great. I finally have secure passwords for my important sites. You can use it for automated logins or you can create a secure document with user names and passwords.

Keep two sets on 5x7 cards. Gave one set to my son for safe keeping.

RoboForm works pretty good as well. https://www.roboform.com/lp?frm=rfp-006&affid=12e01&gclid=Cj0KCQjwktHLBRDsARIsAFBSb6xMBhZfvVG91e66hskySiBTQ3QDKgbt2wHLbBXnjuSwXOgOl8tnt-0aAs_uEALw_wcB

I don't trust anything on a computer to be safe, hack-free or loss proof. I keep mine in a file cabinet labelled "Secret computer stuff--don't peek", the idea being I would rather a thief access my machine than tear it up trying. I don't keep anything important on it anyway.

I have used RoboForm for 4 years. It syncs with my smart phone, my wife's smart phone, her iPad, my desktop and laptop. I don't know how I'd manage without it. It does have a couple of "quirks", but I know how to work around them.
