Well for starters, have the Satanic government stop paying farmers not to plant certain crops and the new yield would more than make up for the loss. Add to that a healthy population of people in the country where health care is needed very little and we'd eliminate about 85% of our disabled which we are supposed to be taking care off, but in reality are abandoning them and leaving them in a living hell. You'd have no idea what would spring from it; like people having the ability to think again, instead of brain dead children that can't even explain what they are whining for and can't comprehend 2 + 2. The country may become productive again and mom's can stay at home and raise their children with moral make up. Need I go on! Oh yeah, we would also not have to explain common sense to those that have no idea what common sense is!

Thank you for putting forth your belief. I, however, don't think it has much merit. It is the standard rant about a utopia that could exist but never did. The understanding of reality might help you understand your shortcomings.

It's the understanding of reality that points out the problems I sited. Fantasy land, which you live in, is not reality.

Just don't send people that want to cut down trees and rain forests. That is how we got in this mess to begin with.

You are right reality is an understanding of ramblings. You interject your belief and consider its empirical data.

My mistake, the movie is "Interstellar". Saw it on, I think, Fx. Fortunately, I had pre-recorded it as the commercials were nearly as long as the movie.

Send the congress and the senate to check it out first. Then send the heads of Monsanto and all the chemical companies to really be sure. Well, now why would we want to leave when we got rid of the problems?

the earth will survive. when we muck it up to a certain point it will thin the ranks. those of us left will have to learn to exist in the prevailing conditions.

Several scientists have been in the news lately saying that we must find another planet for humanity. At the rate this planet is being messed up, it will not be habitable indefinitely.

If we were to discover another planet suitable for human life, who would go there? Only two groups would get the chance to move: the rich and the "important."

As far as I'm concerned, saving humanity should not even be a consideration. We made this mess - well, the rich and "important" did - so we should suffer the consequences. We had our chance, and we blew it.

Don't whine, Jerry. The biggest strain on the planet is the population, and that ain't being driven by the rich! As for "Important", i would say we're all important!

The simple reality is that a mass extinction is a reality, no matter what the humans do. A large meteor strike or a super volcano eruption will end all life on the surface of the planet. Not a matter of if, but when. AS far as "moving" to another planet, unless there is a way to travel faster than the speed of light, there is no place to go.

Sounds good to me. Let the rich and important fly off somewhere else and bugger that up, and leave us to put Mother Earth back on track. Hopefully, we'll have learned enough not to create more RICH and IMPORTANT types.

For ye Americans, of little faith, our drinking water is cleaner and safer today, as is our air, than 30 years ago...http://instituteforenergyresearch.org/analysis/the-air-is-getting-cleaner-but-the-media-are-nowhere-to-be-seen/

Media won't report it as some one may start believing that maybe even "climate change" is also over-hyped?!?

Let's see if that remain true in 10 - 20 years after Trump dismantles the EPA.

The planet will survive. It's been around for 4.5 billion years. Whether its human inhabitants survive is another issue. Whose to blame - the rich & important? I think we must all take responsibility for it's impending condition that will make it uninhabitable. It's an interesting discussion, Jerry.

What he must "dismantle" is the political element that was created in the EPA.

Every environmental "problem" becomes political as soon as someone else thinks it's isn't a problem.

I wish him luck with that.
