In the three + years you've been here you must have passed at least a couple of dozen threads on the topic.

In short stay away from them. Beyond that, search the topic.

I have not dealt with them, but did check out several ads of theirs. In the "what is included" part they list vague batteries, and cables, but give no real ID. That leads me to suspect that they are selling grey market items which they strip the accessories from, and replace the brand name batteries, chargers, etc, with cheap off name brand items. That is bad because the off name stuff is generally of lower quality, and often won't work at all with some cameras. That means that you have to buy brand name items to replace the off brand stuff. I know that other sellers do such things, and the vague ads make it seem that 42nd St does such as well. I won't chanced it.

Maybe contact UHH member Dan De Lion, who has praised them highly.

They are known for offering "grey market" items which are not waranteed by the manufacturer. Bait and switch.

I actually searched 42photo and found nothing.
Thats why I asked the question, and no I have never heard them mentioned before in my 3 plus years here.
Thanks for the advise. I usually use B&H and have very good experiences with them, but $200 is $200
so I thought I ask the members.

Yes, I love this site, but life has gotten in the way.
Hopefully I will have more time soon.

yes, thanks.
I searched with 42photo.com and got nothing.
I should have used the 42nd. street logo and gotten better results.

The search engine can be finicky.
