What's the hummer got in his beak?

The hummer has been landing with some regularity on this bush so I set up my tripod with a remote shutter release. Can't figure out what he/she has on the tip of his beak. All shot with Nikon D500 with 80-400 lens, hand held, except for the hummer.

My guess would be spider web. I have seen them collect it for their nests.

And they do eat small insects , I enlarged it and it looks as if it has legs near the bottom front

I have downloaded the image, zoomed in and applied the magnifier.
I cannot make out what is in the beak.

Excellent! As for what is on the beak? I don't know, but you could leave some floss on the bush...
