Thank you Annie. As a city slicker, wild animals, especially horses are a treat for me. We saw very few animals on that trip and might have completely missed that beautiful creature, if not for my still-intact peripheral vision! I have multiple shots of it taken at different focal lengths. Maybe I will post them to see what folks think about the one I posted.

Bernie, I've got to agree with many others that the horse shot is really special. It must have been quite an experience! I also very much like the colors and depth of the first shot! Welcome aboard!

Nice work. I like no.2, you've kept the sky nice whilst showing detail in the darkening canyon, with minimal loss of detail.
