I can speak about them and can assure you they are very reliable and extremely honest. They have a bricks and mortar store in Fairfield NJ and a new location in Hoboken. They are well-known in NJ and run shows 2-3x a year with all the major brands represented.
I would just say call and speak to their staff to get the "facts" about what you are buying and buy that way rather than a direct internet purchase.

Having bought from them (I just head over to the store), they are on par with ABC- just not as well known as they are smaller and don't do as much advertising. Plus all their salespeople are photo folks so you can get an intelligent and honest answer.

They are the largest camera store in New Jersey. Very knowledgeable folks. Very reputable. They are authorized dealers of the products they sell. They have a large used department as well as rental department. They also have classes and seminars there. You can trust them.

I always check with the BBB in the state the store is in. I look at the complaints that are reported, what type of reports and how they are addressed by the store

They are an excellent company. Bought my Nikon D750 with the 24-120 F4 from them also my 28-300mm Nikon lens. There shipping is great and very quick had my purchases within 48 hours. Also they pack the equipment extremely well protected. They are as good as the ABC company's.

I've used them for a few purchases. About 20 minutes from me. Would have bought my Sony A6000 and 18-105 lens from them in January, but they were out of stock after Christmas. Very knowledgeable and patient in showing me all the options when I decided to go mirrorless rather than going with a Canon T6i.

I will go with them for the next purchase (lens) since it's a bit easier than B&H to get to, although B&H has better range of accessories (got my bag there).

As an addendum to my earlier post, Unique is the closest thing we have in NJ to a camera superstore. While much smaller than B&H, they still have a very large selection of gear in house. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The best camera store in NJ in my opinion.

In the past I usually ordered from B&H because they didn't charge sales tax when shipping to NJ. That changed when they opened a warehouse here. As a result, while I still order from B&H, I buy a lot from Unique to support a local business.

As a long-time resident of NJ and former member of 2 camera clubs there, I have used UNIQUE very often and they are a very reliable firm. Members of both camera clubs rely on UNIQUE for their classes and their photo equipment, and I too
have purchased a great deal there. In northern NJ they are the best in the business.
