I have used Mirrorless cameras for for many years and currently have two Olympus M43 cameras, so naturally I am biased towards this sort of camera.

Here's a very interesting link which may help DSLR users to convert: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/dslr-alternative-mirrorless-camera/?_utm_source=1-2-2

Thank you for posting that, yes it was very interesting. You may have helped a bunch of DSLR users's that have read many articles about mirror-less and have sensed the future is here but are not sure and are on the fence. For those people, this is perfect.

how stupid. who cares, if you don't like it or it doesn't relate to you, pass it by......to many people on this site are know it alls and have nothing better to do in their lives than critique others.

My post was not to make people convert to a different system, it was an article I read to help those considering a change that's all !!

In relative terms, not many photographers use medium format. Those that do probably also use FF. Rarely do the aforementioned try persuading others to abandon their DSLRs for FF or Hassels.
I doubt that many DSLR shooters often print larger than A4. If I am correct in that assumption, then those (most) DSLR shooters could change to MFT (M43) and see no difference in IQ. The only reason for not so doing would be a real (perhaps illogical) dislike of EVF, ignoring the huge advantages that go with EVF, of which I am sure all of us are aware.

I own both a Mirrorless camera, and a DSLR. I will be purchasing another DSLR around Xmas, and will consider future Mirrorless purchases, but am not rushing to get such. Each system has it's benefits, and drawbacks, and it's areas of application. Neither is the 'be all & end all' of photography.

I bought a Fuji X-T2 about a month ago and I also have a Nikon D750. After using both for the last month you're right, neither is the 'be all & end all'. The negative for the D750 is weight especially with full frame lenses. The downside to the Fuji is the (this will ruffle the feathers of some of the mirrorless folks) electronic view finder - I very much prefer the Nikon view finder - even though you can see what your final exposure will look like. The Nikon is a cleaner, higher "resolution" look at your subject.

The end product images from both are more affected by me than the camera but I'm pleased with the images I get on both. What I've found is for a walk around camera I take the X-T2 (light weight, smaller, fun to use) and for my serious photos (do I have those?) I prefer my Nikon.
