There have been numerous posts extolling the qualities of Eneloop batteries, but I have a question regarding their adapter that allows for using say AA batteries in devices that take "C" ones. Eneloop batteries have a 1.2 volt rating while my wireless outdoor speakers use 8 "C" cells per speaker. The "C" cells are 1.5 volts. What problem might I have in speaker performance with the 1.2 volt output? Or would they work at all?
Eneloops (1.2v) are used in devices where regular batteries (1.5v) are used. So using the adapter shouldn't be a problem. I have small LED flashlights designed to use 3.7v AA-size batteries, but they work just as well with 1.2v Eneloops.
I have C and D size rechargeable batteries, so I haven't had the need for an adapter - yet.
