Well, T, it's often a tough decision which way to go. Both versions are good. But I think I'll vote for the B&W, because I've developed a taste for it. Actually, color street is fine, it's just that there's been a predominance of B&W in this group.

There are no rules. In this case, color for sure. /Ralph

I like B&W ... for most pics. Then there are the ones where the color makes the pic. This seems to be one of them. Color changes, for me at least, the dynamics of the picture. I can go with the B&W because I know what the original looks like.

Thanks for your comment. You do "see" more in color in this one.

Like them both but this scene is too colorful to pass as B&W. Nice capture of an interesting scene.

Are you implying that "street" means B&W ? I never thought B&W was a requirement for street photography.

No, I'm not ... and it isn't. But most street lends itself to B&W.

Normally I like color best, but in this shot I think the B&W works better. Second place the eyes go is the orange polo shirt in the background. Also, the colors on the building, blue polo's, etc. seem to distract from the subject. I like that you left wide background for context. Well done-nice shot!

In this photo, color seems to be more important than the subject, so I like the color shot.
