Hello my uhh friends. It has been a while since I posted anything. Last weekend I finely got some time to go out and shoot some pictures. The plus side to this I went hiking with my sons some father and son time was needed. We went to peeks of otter on the beautiful Blue ridge parkway here in Virginia. My sons both in there early 20's and in great shape did great on the 1 1/2 mile very vertical hike. AS far as dad goes lets just say I made it. there was so many natural stairs I lost count. When we got to the top it was all worth it. All them stairs and rocks and roots we hiked over what a climb. I am posting an 11 shot panorama I put together in lightroom and a shot of me and my 2 sons. The great rock band led zeppelin said it best. This hike was truly the stairway to heaven.

Thank you Angler. It is very rare that I get to spend time with both my sons at the same time. It was all worth it.

It looks like you got high that day. No one looks happy. Looong way down!

My wife and I did the hike in flip flops way back when we were dating. Will NEVER EVER do that again, but boy, as you've shared, the view is wonderful!

Thank you Jerry for your comment. We were very happy that day. Of course my sons had to tease the old man about the hike. It is the second highest peek in Virginia.

I can't even think of hiking in flip flops. But you are correct the view is fantastic. The rock formations were amazing.

Thank you very much to all who commented on my photos. I do realize we don't look happy but we were very happy about the time we spent together. My boys and I are very serious people. We do smile just not that often. We do get that sometimes. Lots of people do read us wrong because we take everything we do so serious. That whole day was fantastic. After the hike we went to dinner. Dads treat.

Great place to go together and nice photos. Don't let the boys rag you too much, at an age much younger than you I chose the bus ride up to the top. (Do they still have a bus there?)
