I really don't recall the music. It was mostly background music.

I know you like to watch BBC programmes such as this one, the problem with BBC is they do have a very good drama series, but when they're over the never reappear and if they do they are never quite as good somehow.
Fortunately we have a commercial station in the UK known as Drama and they often show earlier BBC programmes, today for example they are showing Last of the Summer Wine, Monarch of the Glen, New Tricks and Silent Witness, there's another channel known as Yesterday which have similar shows from the past, you have to put up with the adverts though.

Right! And they never respond to my emails. Maybe the salary I demanded is too high.

I enjoy British mystery series'. My only complaint is that
they seem to take 90 minutes to tell a 60 minute story.
Nevertheless I will zone out on Shetland, as usual.

Some shows spend ten seconds or more with a close-up of a character's face or the local scenery. That's a long time when nothing is happening. I find some British series to be too depressing, Broadchurch is a good example. I made it through the first season, but I couldn't get through the first episode of the second. There's another series that features a detective who is accompanied by his partner. She had a large hole blown in her head, yet she follows him around (in his mind) and they have conversations. Maybe that's a Scandinavian series. It took quite a while for them to show the huge hole in the back of the woman's head. Up to that point, I thought she as real. Not a fun show.

Just added that to my DVD queue, thanks! Right now we're enjoying "Death In Paradise", a fun variation of the British murder mystery. New Tricks is another favorite.

"Death..." is excellent, even when the cast changes. I hope that continues. Despite the heat, the visiting English actors must love filming there.

We watch that one, too.

If you haven't seen Kettering, a mystery/sci-fi series set in Tasmania, switch over to Amazon Prime and check it out. Caution: Ca-reepy!!! Watch with one eye covered...
