From our recent road trip. All these photos were taken above 10,000' in the late evening. This was my first time visiting this area and hope to be able to return to see more of the ancient Bristlecones...didn't allow enough time.

Eastern Sierra Mountain Range in California. These were taken about 24 miles from Big Pine, CA.

Very interesting set. The tree photos are quite unique and you've captured a bit of history in the cabins. I hope you do get a chance to return because I would love to see more of your photography.

I had the same question, so looked it up. It is on the California/Nevada state line north of Death Valley. It is sort of halfway between Las Vegas and Sacramento.

These are very nice images.
