Saturday was Houston (Gay) Pride Day. So will switch topics to keep current. Maybe will also go back to mixing subjects rather than trying to keep to a topic. Anyhow, you may find some more unconventional subjects in the days ahead. Well, we're all people stuck together on this earth. Hope you enjoy.
By the way, this is a BIG event in Houston.
Good capture ... looking forward to the rest.
I love the photographer on the right!

He looks like he's enjoying himself.
Voss-I'm an avid fan of your street photography. You have a great eye for the genre and your processing is always discreet. If your shooting method isn't proprietary, how about letting us know how you go about it? Do you mingle or stand off--or both? What gear do you favor? Have you had any unpleasant encounters?
Please, keep 'em coming!

Also, San Francisco, San Diego, and New Orleans amongst others. Great shot!

Bob, glad you enjoy my photos. No, no secret to my method. When I'm at a site, I walk slowly along, looking from side to side. I carry my camera two-handed, left hand on the zoom wheel, right index finger on the shutter release. The camera is set on full auto mode. When something interesting or unusual gets my attention, I generally take one to three shots. I stand off and try to act inconspicuously. However, it's embarrassing when I later review the photos and see how many times people are actually looking at me. Mostly they are neutral or smiling. I've not had any serious negative encounters.
My equipment is a Nikon D5200 with an 18-200mm zoom. Last week I bought a Ricoh GRII point-and-shoot camera with a fixed 28mm lens. It's a neat little camera, but I haven't done much with it yet.
By the way, to everyone, I'm always happy to answer questions. You can ask on a post, or send me a Private Message.

Thanks, Bob. Yes, there are some other places, and I'd like to attend their celebrations sometime.
