Your typical bait-n-switch who sell non-usa items. Steer clear!

I've actually used them a couple of times. Never had a bait and switch issue, or any problems at all. Used them for a laptop and point and shoot for my day job.

Both times, got exactly what I wanted, and no high pressure upsell.

That being said, for myself, and MY business, I prefer to do business either locally, or Adorama, B&H or Cameta. (ABC's of online camera equipment) My local store is closing (this week) so I won't be able to buy anything locally any more, unless I trust Best Buy or a box store for my camera equipment. (nope)

I know that Beach Camera is an authorized Nikon, Sigma and Tamron dealer, and would be very surprised if they weren't also authorized by Canon and the other big manufacturers. I bought a Nikon-refurbished lens from them and they delivered exactly what they said they would. I personally wouldn't hesitate buying from them again.

Thank you all for your feedback, I'm buying a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2 and I just wanted to know a bit about them.

Used them a couple of times to buy for the university where I work. Gave me a good price for one camera kit, but when I said I needed 12, the price per kit went....UP! Just got the one. The whole university system now has a deal with B&H, so we order from them.

They're fine for the couple of times that I've bought from them.

I have used them several times, and never been bait & switched yet. Everything I got from them was non-grey market, with full warranty.

They are about 10 miles from where I live. They are a reliable dealer.

A few years ago, I purchased a P & S camera at Beach by phone order. It arrived on time, in new untouched condition, and sold it at a reasonable price. I have no hesitation with saying that Beach is OK.

I bought an Exakta lens from them for my VXIIa. Does the purchase and camera tell you how long ago that was? They were fine people to deal with then. That is my only experience to relate. Times change, People Change. But I have nothing but good experience with them.

I agree--a couple of years ago, they were "bait and Switch". Stay with BandH Photo Video. I've dealt with them for years--quality product, wide selection.

I bought a Tamron 150-600mm for my son about a year and a half ago from them. When I called the salesmen was determined to sell me so he offered some off on it; so I jumped on it. The lens is exactly as ordered and from I hear others complain about the lens, we got a really good copy of one. From that experience I would do business with them again.

I doubt they were. They have two brick & mortar locations too. One in Edison, NJ & the other in Greenbrook, NJ. Have been in business for a very long time.
