Quick trip to Savannah GA

I'm going to be in Savannah for a few days...never been there...and would appreciate any "must sees", restaurants, etc. Also any advice about places to avoid or "don't bothers"

I was there many years ago and there is no shortage of great places to eat and drink.
I remember walking along East River Street on a particularly sultry evening and a
hole-in-the-wall establishment was selling ice cold beers which you could carry with
you as you strolled the riverside.

The walk along the river is very nice. The Pirate's House Restaurant had good food and was interesting - old construction. Also - the Bonaventure Cemetary is really awesome: http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-394163-1.html

The Old Pink House is an excellent restaurant. Lots of beautiful parks dot the city and the riverfront is very interesting.

Great place! Avoid most of the tours, especially the "Ghost Walk!"

Another neat place to visit is Tybee Island, which is about 20 minutes from Savannah. It houses an old fort and a very colorful light house.
