I like the photo but it would appear your Colt is missing the very necessary front sight. Sam'l Colt would not be a happy camper.

.45 Long Colt is a bit of a monster to handle and shoot well
And only 6 rounds :( :(, and tough to conceal (but true - only one hit on target required).
-
Take a look at the Stoeger Cougar (Beretta 8000)
NOT quite the hogs leg the Beretta 92FS is, but still holds a respectable 15 rounds of 9mm
Double action, with safety decock, and IWB/OWB holster from Craft Holsters (Falco)

Illinois surely has it's problems these days... Will be interesting to see how everything shakes out...
I live very close to a watershed project on the salt creek... beautiful forest surrounding multiple lakes with islands etc...
We get about the same number of visitors that Yellowstone gets... That is where I ride the bike pictured here... have a pair of eagles that have become parents this spring... First time I have seen this in the forest here... Lived here 45 years now...
