Moved into Stoneridge in Feb. Like the area: Plenty of photo opportunities, mild weather, good things in Prescott. Close to the Grand Canyon! Short on shopping.

I live in Prescott and love it here. You forgot to mention the photo opportunities in Sedona which is only an hour's drive away. Also, Watson Lake is also rich with photo opportunities right here in our back yard. I could go on.

I've been to Prescott many times in the 50's and 60's. Most recently in winter three years ago, mild by N. American standards. My relatives lived in Phoenix but had a cabin in Walker and we would meet there for holidays. The road into Walker was an ordeal in those days. The relies now live in Prescott, it's pronounced a little funny. We briefly considered buying in the area. It has everything I'm interested in. A good timber supplier, a new VA hospital, an Old Time Music club, a specialist fiddle shop, BBQ, Mexican food and photo ops. It even had a Eumundi Market, run by an Aussie, go figure.
