I just got this Meike 6.5mm f/2.0 fisheye lens - completely manual. I took a few quick shots with the Sony A6000. I'll be busy for the next week or more, but I'll try to post more. It gives a circular image, which isn't always what you want, but it is something different. For $150, it was worth the wait for it to arrive from China.

Loc: Finally decided to plop down, Clover, S.C.
I have a similar lens from Samyang, it has a horrendous depth of field. Makes my D90 almost a point and shoot!
You managed to keep your feet out of the frame. Enjoy your new toy!!
The toadstool is interesting

Yes, but I had to be within inches of the subject. I'll have to experiment with this lens. Focus seems to be impossible. Fortunately, the Sony show the exposure as I turn the aperture ding, so I can get the exposure right.
That's what you call a stretch. You should get some interesting shots with it, have fun Jerry!
This looks like a challenging lens but a very interesting one. I like the second shot in particular and look forward to seeing more. Have fun.
I have the Rokinon 8mm which looks sharper on the edges, but is not as wide an angle. The Meike also seems to focus closer? Just looked it up - Meike minimum is 5mm, while the Roki is 12". I may be looking for one of those.
The Rokinon is great for wedding parties. You can add a flash, point the flash up at the ceiling, set the focus to about 3 feet, f stop to 8 and shoot without worries and get everything in focus. Gives a wild perspective too.
