Geesus Gene. You are an amazing guy. I was totally flummoxed by this vehicle and had no idea what the make, model or year might be. Is it a Plymouth or a Ford or some combination thereof-a true hybrid?
Thanks!
It looked like the owner may have done all his customizing in the interior and under the hood and the chassis, keeping the body lines as original as possible. Did it have a trunk mounted spare?
I was a car freak as a kid. I actually had a Lindberg model of this car in a four door, so it was pretty familiar.
I can't believe I found someone on PInterest/Etsy that has this model kit for sale!
https://www.pinterest.com/pin/442830575829842243/I think I may have paid $1 for mine in 1968.
I also try and hit all the local car shows whenever possible. George Barris out of the LA area was my hero. His best known customs were the Munster's Car and the original Batmobile.

Well your background and knowledge have certainly paid off. Thanks again.
Does it look like there's been some fine quality customizing, possibly lowered and maybe top chopped a little? Wheels, etc, are custom, I think. (I am not anywhere near expert, but love to see beautiful metal work.
Looks like a 34 plymouth.

Hey I represent that remark! LOL!

I believe the hood ornament is Plymouth, about 1934, however I don't think the car is stock, the body and grill as already mentioned looks like 1934 Ford.
I agree.....looks very much like a '34..... and yes the car is very far from being stock.
My recall is that is a Ford grill, but the hood ornament (radiator ornament) doesn't look correct.

I agree. I had a 41 or 42 Plymouth which I bought in 1954 or '55 when I was in the Army. However, the car shown was not from that specific time.
Sorry, I can't, but it's a really beautiful looking car, Jim Bob!
My thanks to everyone who has weighed in.
