Judgement is still out as to whether this was part of an African-American farm jail or a poor farm. There are indications of both. I used the new Photomatix 6 to process the photos. Just showing the finished not the originals. Hope you enjoy.

Yup, Duncanville is in Dallas county and Ellis county is just south of there.
Yes just outside of Waxahachie, TX.
Over processed. If I can tell it's HDR then it's too much in my book. I love the benefits of HDR but creating something that you would never see in nature isn't my cup of tea. That's just me. Some people like the "dramatic sky" look but for me if it doesn't look like something I would see with my own eyes it doesn't compute. Maybe you didn't ask for a review, not sure. I hope I haven't hurt your feelings. This is just an honest opinion not meant to be a judgement of you as a person, just a critique of the process of photography.

I loved the first two. The last two, there was something too strong about the prominent green.
