Carol this is a stunning set. The lighting on the Gaura is special. Speaking of lighting, I spent some time trying to guess which of these may have been taken in a studio and which may have been taken in your garden. The fact that I could not tell speaks to your mastery of lighting and exposure. These are all so beautiful! Someday I hope you will give us a "wide shot" of you garden.

Thank you, Phil. Actually, all of these were shot inside. My lighting is simple but I play with it until I like what I see. As for my garden, it is not all that big but the back yard is fenced and I dug up all the grass a couple of years ago. It is now all mulched and planted in blooming shrubs, perennials and annuals. I have four bird baths, a hummingbird feeder and several bird feeders. As you can guess, it is a pretty busy place! When I worked I always put in long hours and had a long commute as well. Working in the garden and taking pictures is a wonderful way to spend my retirement years!
