You're not alone, I too am drawn to it and maybe it's because the bee is so sharp and hanging upside down and it is the point of interest in the image.
Maybe thats it , see i thought it was a butterfly but now i see it could be a bee lol I knew there was something about this pic that was captivating
Looks like the butterfly is doing Ballet. The light green and purple complement each other ...I like it too. Jen

I agree with you, Chinaman. I love the tranquil colors and I think the upside down butterfly draws you into the picture as well. Nice bokeh. The picture creates a sense of curiosity. I hope to remember the concept of tension to improve my photographic compositions.
I know what you mean, I have a bunch of my photographs hanging on my wall but I have one that isn't on my wall that has to be my favorite. It's of a sunflower with a bumble bee regular bee and flower on it.
