You can always use Paint Shop to edit your photo's or even use Portrait pro to edit your Portraits, very easy to use, and not as expensive as other products.. there are a lot of " HOGS " that use these programs!

Beautiful girl. Here's my edit. I could have removed the post in the background but decided to leave it. Cropped it for 5 x 7.

Here is my post. I brightened shadows, softened the skin slightly, removed any blemishes, and removed the loose hair strands. Completed in PS.
I suggest you use layers so that you can un do any of the edits that are questionable, such as too soft.

This is my edit choice. Cropped to 5 x 7. Edit done using PS and Topaz Labs Clarity and Detail. Normally I would have removed the post in the background, but decided to leave it in. I resized the image to W 11.429, L 8.134, with the resolution to 350, and pixel dimensions of 4000 x 2857. If you like it, I can email you the edited file.

Hello
I used Photo shop elements 15 to clean up the photo .
then I used Portrait Pro 15 to adjust the skin and eyes

I did not know that you could edit a JPEG image using a spot removal tool. Did you use Lightroom or Photoshop ??

I tried it - brought the JPG image into Lightroom and made edits - lightened the eyes and the hair behind the right ear.

Best so far. But the whites of the eyes, I feel, are just a tad too bright.

I like all the versions, I learned so much.
Thank you to all.
I usually do minimal editing with preview, I take way too many shots at events and it would take me forever to fix them right but if I get good at portraits, I'll definitely try the other programs.
I took that photo at a wedding and it was a surprise how good it was, the other 600 were ok, lol.
I mostly took videos.
I now have do edit them together in fcpx.
Anybody knows an easier way then the usual.

Anna
