This is my first post so please be kind. I recently moved to Fredericksburg Virginia. During Memorial Day weekend for past 22 years the National Park service and the Boy Scouts hold a candle lighting ceremony at the Fredericksburg National Cemetery(Civil War). I was fortunate enough to attend on Saturday night. It was a beautiful and moving experience. I had not planned to attend so I did not have my DSLR with me so please forgive the cell phone pictures. I believe the mood and experience are still conveyed though.
The barn picture was taken Saturday morning after my hike over Old Rag Mountain in the Shenandoah National Park. Camera is a Nikon D5300 with an 18-140mm 3.5-5.6G ED. Photo was taken at 140mm, 1/400 @ f/8.0 and ISO 400. Post processing done with Lightroom CC.
Enjoy,

The luminarias are beautiful. And such a nice idea.

The luminaries are poignant but I find the barn picture to be excellently done. The well exposed black and white contrasts well with colorful flag.
Thanks everyone for the kinds words.
