Thanks for the commiseration, CathyAnn. It's truly tragic. How she could leave when she was so clearly in love with me, poor thing, I can only wonder. I may have to search for years, but Rumania isn't big enough for her to hide forever. I'll find her, just you wait and see.

LOL!!! It's true the floors outside her rooms have never looked so good! A real see-yourself shine! She could at least have said I did a good job... But no, she just up and left. Not so much as a fare-thee-well or 'havaniceday!'

When I find her in Rumania she'll hear about that. Count on it! Like she'll ever see floors polished like that again! Hah!

Thanks, Sirius_one. I'm told her parents are steeped in Rumanian tradition, which says Rumanians can only date and marry other Rumanians. She had to flee, as she was clearly in love with me, and obviously dared not go against her Family. Rumanian law dictates that should she become involved with a non-Rumanian, she must be fed to a dragon.

And that's a real downer.

So what can you do.

But there will undoubtedly be another Dark Lady along soon. I'm sure of it.

Thanks, Carla. As Time Goes By, I'll do my best to get over this terrible blow. Losing DL Kimberly to the Rumanians when I felt almost certain she was 'the One' will take me years--if not decades--to recover from. I'll never fall in love again.

Okay, at least for a week or two. Now that I think about it, as the Ministry of Mayhem's heroic (but humble) astronaut/custodian, it wouldn't be right to deprive all these beautiful Dark Ladies of my company and attentions, would it?

I'm just thinkin',here...if the dark ladies of the ministry don't appreciate you, I think there are many ladies here who would gladly have you show your skills at floor polishing. Who of us here wouldn't want to have a floor so shiny we could see our reflection. Its an admirable trait, probably you should include that on your dating site.
