The title sucked me in and glad it did. The eyes say it all. I really like the shot. Are you going to enter it in the "What is in your kitchen" photo contest?
Thanks for sharing!
I hadn't really thought about it.

I found it and I don't think the photo qualifies because I took it about a year and a half ago.

When I was a kid we had an Alaskan Malamute named "Rasputin" who stole the Thanksgiving Day Turkey off of the Kitchen Table while we were eating in the dining room, there was still 50% of the bird left when he started. 5% when he got caught. The look on my mother's face was well worth the cost of the lost bird.

Yikes! No grapes for Molly! They could kill her. Almost everything else is fine. I'm going through this with my dog.
Great photo. She's a sweetie. :)
Such a cute picture!!! I have 2 dogs, Buddy (the one in my profile) and Baybe. They both know how to beg really well! And of course I usually give in to them, can't resist the big brown eyes!! But please, please, please!!! Be careful of letting your dogs at the turkey, had a friend whose dog ate their turkey and died because of a bone that splittered in his throat!! (The dog, not the friend!)

Your shot tells a great story. Once unexpected visitors rang the doorbell while my wife and I were eating breakfast. By the time we returned to the table it had become a crime scene. My wife's little dog ate me omelet.
I left my daughter's homemade birthday cake high on the counter and went to a meeting. Guess what was gone when I got home? Had to stay up half the night to make another, thanks to Ashley the incorrigible Irish Setter.
Gotta love 'em anyway. I once had a porter house special cut for me-$29- and some fresh portabella mushrooms-$14-. I got the grill going and the steak marinating and went back inside for about 5 minutes. When I went back out, everything was gone, even the mushrooms. My new rescue, Blue, was licking his chops and smiling from ear to ear! I couldn't be mad at him. When I got him, he weighed 27 pounds-a Pit Bull- and had been tied on a rope in a back yard for 3 1/2 years. I wound up having a sandwich for dinner!

When I was a kid my mother roasted a sizable turkey for dinner guests who were due over soon. She left it on a kitchen counter to cool. Our German Shepherd noticed it and in no time devoured the entire thing.
