Some of you might have seen images I posted last year of my 33day off trail backpacking trip on the Navajo Nation south of Lake Powell. This year we started off where we ended last year, by Nasja Mesa, and reached civilization at Rainbow Bridge 24 days later. Here are some images ( more to follow in a few days).
The first image was our first night between Bald Rock and Nasja Canyons. The second is of Indian Paintbrush on Nasja Mesa and the third is where we crossed Anasazi Canyon.
I like all three, but favorite my by just a hair is number two. Number three is really strong with the two basic colors and how the water leads one to the rock backdrop. But the textures and colors of number two speak of the struggles of survival of that place.
