I think it takes awhile to actually take in Bryce. There's something about the combination of the formations, the colour and the beautiful sky that sort of takes the breath away.

Love that place. If you get a chance, hike down among the hoodoos, it is a different perspective and very beautiful. Enjoy the park. Where to next - there are so many things to see in that area.

I had my 50-500MM lens on and was shooting random focal lengths! Just point and click a lot!

Not to "horn" in on the OP's post, but I have a question about a shot I took there last year. My color rendition is pretty close to what the eye saw. Is what I am seeing here a result of something else? I did very little pp to this image and would love some feedback.
