Good job on your first posts. No 1 is my favorite.
Welcome to the forum. Nice set.

I really like the second one, thinking of all the stories it could tell, lives that have been there and now are gone.

I like no 1, but it's too centered for my taste

Great subjects, but the Rule of Thirds and wider lens (or backing up) would have helped immensly.
I would have called this "the door is open".
Thank you everyone, I'll try to remember not to forget the Rule of thirds .

Welcome to the Hog. Lots of great Photographers and lots of information available throughout the forum on different threads. I found that AL. has a lot of opportunities to find old dilapidated buildings if you drive the back roads. In my travels found an old log built church on a dirt road outside of Grand Prairie. Couldn't get close to shoot the inside as it was fenced off.

Great first post, PhotoMinx. Welcome to UHH, and keep those pics of old and abandoned buildings coming. I know that Alberta has lots of them when you travel the country back roads. I primarily shoot old barns and abandoned farm houses in Saskatchewan.
I love old buildings like this and I think the second one is nice.
Welcome to the Forum!!
Looks like the painter missed a spot in the second photo.
