Actually, Jenny, Steve didn't actually ignore my entry, he rejected it on a whim based on a silly, irrational technicality. My entry was not 'great art' but it met the stated focus of the contest. My guess is he had already 'chosen' the winner well before the contest was due to end. No matter, I survived.

No great disaster to be let out of a deteriorating sub-forum except it's a bit disappointing that some people who know
me, know that I joined UH in Sept. 2011, been in this section since the day it opened, but would treat me as if I didn't
know how to load a picture! McVeed, shame on you buddy! And of course there's the one who darned well knows me
and chattered with irrelevant instructions as to how-to!!
Does anyone know Mr. Didereaux who seemed to be the spark that set the fire? I do believe admin.can get to the
bottom of all this foolishness when sorting through it, so came back to say it's a nice sunny day, we should enjoy,and

Did you have anything going on at the time that looked as if you could believe it wasn't you? I'm extremely careful, and
never in a hurry when going to pm msg. mode, and when deleting rather than sending, it should have deleted! My Q now
is ....we know, when sending pm that admin. can review it. But does a user/mgr of a forum see it also and intercept it
and the hedgehog himself NOT get it??? Think back about the circumstances under which this happened as too whether
anything significant was goiong on behind the scenes. There certainly were some things going on in my case! Actually had
uncovered something the user/mgr wouldn't want me to see!!!!!!!

And as a side, your WPC was rejected for lack of EXIF Data as stated in the rules and the PM. You were also offers the chance to try again but you chose Ignore.

Thank you for your consideration and tips BHC. Unfortunately when looking into the matter I uncovered
what the user/mgr definitely wouldn't want me to see, i.e.,he had been squabbling with admin.
That section has been on the skids with all the best input fleeing elsewhere. It's their headache, not mine,
or as one might say, you wouldn't mind being shut out of a place that wasn't serving the best pizza in town anyway.

Sort of odd though,there was no specific reason for it,..... except the timing ? I'm not one to take sides either let alone
get into a brawl. It's supposed to be about Photography, not personalities isn't it.
