No rose is ordinary. And I prefer natural processing. So I love these. I like the lavender on especially. I used to have a lavender rose that turned sort of silver as it aged. Nicely done!

Many thanks for the thoughtful reply Kathy. I'm glad you liked these.

Thought I'd dig into my flower collection for something a little different. One of these days I may learn how to use some of the creative filters on these kinds of images. For now, I'll settle for ordinary.

As I recall, the last three were shot in RAW and converted to JPEG.

Nothing I would call ordinary here, these are great shots.
Cheers

Beautiful photos! Only one with drops of water. Every once in awhile, when I get the urge to capture my wife's flowers, I take a small spray bottle and put water on the flower and leaves. (From the "For What It's Worth" Department). One day I hope my flower pics look as good as yours.

Yes, water adds a whole new exciting element. I really prefer them with rain drops, but we haven't had any rain for a couple of weeks and probably have finally entered our dry spell. Misting them with a spray bottle doesn't quite get the right look. The drops are too fine and consistent in size. I've tried using the hose. It works a little better, but real rain makes a difference.

Thanks for taking time to offer insight and kind comments Floyd. I appreciate it.

Outstanding shots, Vicki! Beautiful roses!

So far, the roses on this side of the continent have not demonstrated the effects of plutonium fertilizer. I keep looking to see whether they're glowing in the dark. Maybe when Martian has more time to get away from the Ministry.....

Thanks for the visit and thoughtful reply my friend.

Lovely set Vicki, all very beautiful as they are, but to play around with a few filters would delve into you creative mind and could be interesting?
