Linda, What fun you had!!! They all look really good in download. I loved them.
Very nice scenes, Linda. I appreciate the fact that you mention your equipment. I, too, am a gearhead.

Thank you, Rowedean! I have an embarrassingly large collection of "right time/right place" photos. Love when it happens

Thanks so much, Dennis. It's all UHH's fault re the gear. I was totally content for nearly four years with one camera & lens, one battery, one card
Nice photos with the new camera, Linda. I hope you didn't get dusted, too.

Thank you, John! I noticed on the last pass he was getting close to the road (I was on opposite side), so I decided I had enough shots
These are great, Linda! I love airplane shots. #3 is wonderful, love the color of the plane with the background.

Wasn't it cool the pilot cooperated for photo ops by flying such a brightly colored plane?
Thank you for commenting, Dianne. Glad you enjoyed!
Crop dusters are such fun to watch. For the most part, they're great pilots. I love watching them go straight up in the air at the end of the field and turn back on themselves. There are so many housing developments around me now that I seldom see them any more.
Now to your pics. These are great. I always think my pictures aren't as sharp as others' and I wonder how they get those tack sharp images. And I frequently get reminded of that by people on the Hog. So, no, I don't think they're tack sharp. But they're plenty good enough! If you were planning to print them as 20x30's, maybe not. Does your camera have predictive focus and did you use it? And were you on a tripod? The older I get, the harder it is to hold those big lenses, although at 1000 shutter speed, it shouldn't have caused much blur. The second image shows it the most. And it's the closest.
I haven't helped you any, have I? Sorry. I love those hills as backdrop!
Great shots Linda.Nice variety.

I always appreciate your thoughtful comments and the obvious time you take with analyzing the images, Kathy.
No "big" lens here as I've gone mirrorless. I don't think this camera and lens combo weigh over two pounds! Even so, I don't see how I could use a tripod as there were mere seconds to focus (he wasn't doing a predictable route). Any blur or lack of sharpness I'm confident had to do with focus since I have a dandelion that looks great
I see that I can change the focus option to continuous autofocus/tracking, so will try that next time I find something moving fast. A continuing educational and joyful journey.
Thanks again, Kathy; much appreciated!
