When processing Raw, Do you use Lightroom, Corel Aftershot Pro, Canon Digital Processing or another program and Why?
The native raw editor.
I'm used to it.
Lightroom, because I like both its processing and image management.

Photoshop, for total control.
Lightroom (non-CC) or On1 Photo Raw - the work flow for both is pretty similar. I started using On1 as a way of hedging my bets in case Lightroom ceases to be available.

Lightroom for initial adjustments then Photoshop for any layering work and for printing.
Lightroom has great cataloging capabilities and I prefer printing from PS as opposed to LR.
I shoot 100% raw ---
Everyone is going to have his/her personal preference --- My suggestion is to start with DPP & do your best then try Whatever it is you have in addition --then compare the output of both --- I know it may sound a little strange but my alternate to DPP is Photomatix which actually is a HDR processor -- I generally - But not always - choose Photomatix

319, welcome to the Hog!
I shoot with a Canon so I download using DPP. I never get rid of my Canon raw if it's a pic I'm keeping.
It of course depends on the shoot. If it's an event and I shoot 1000 shots, I might process 100-200 using DPP, depending on the agreement. Of those I only take 5-10 into Lightroom for more enhancement.
I currently don't use PS, not because I don't think it's good, I just suck at it!!! LoL

LR and Photoshop...it's what I know and learned (graphic designer).

I use Photoshop, started with PSE but found that is was far too limited, so I stepped up to PS and never looked back.

DXO Optics Pro 11 because I prefer the results. I use Lightroom for cataloging and some processing of the tiff files I get from DXO. Occasionally I use Photoshop when the file needs a lot of help.

Photoshop CS6 because its paid for, and I don't need a program filing my images for me.

Photoshop CS6, all you will ever need.
Darktable predominantly, because for the moment, the single overriding requirement of any software workflow for me is "Must run on Linux" as I am not willing to commit my photo workflow to windows given Microsofts current stance regarding updates and telemetry. Darktable has the nicest combination of DAM and image processing in a single package for my needs on Linux.

Lightroom. That's what I have, so that's what I use. Irfanview (free) opens any raw image, so it's convenient for a quick look.
