Nice set! This gets me excited for next week when I can go to Oak Harbor, OH for the "Biggest Birding Week in American Birding". Warblers and other song birds migrate through this area.

Thank you Chris...I'm so glad to know you liked them...and could you possibly sneak me in your suitcase when you go to Magee Marsh! WOW...the place where it rains Warblers...definitely on my bucket list!!! I will be looking forward to living vicariously through your photos

So beautiful Jan--Excellent work!....I haven't been able to get a shot of any. I would hear them but they were fairly high up and well concealed, but I did see one reach out and grab a caddis fly as it landed on our large holly tree; at least I think it was one as I could see only a little of the black and white stripes on its breast! I have been able to get a few shots of a prothonotary warbler and thought about you at the time, and if I'm unable to post in the next couple of days will send a copy to you anyway! Take care!

This was the first week of Warbler season and the worst season so far....storms, downed trees, and high winds made it difficult to find any birds...let alone the tiny Warbler,!

This sweet little warbler is singing his heart out while posing nicely for you. Nicely captured, Carol!

Thank you Corky for your kind words...so glad to know you liked them! I try to go out the first 2 weeks they're back because that's when they will come lower to sing for a mate. Sadly I've never seen a Prothonotary Warbler since I've moved up here...I'll be looking forward to your copy!

Jan, what a cute little bird in his pinstripe suit! You can tell he is really belting it out in the shots with his beak wide open! These are really sharp and clear captures!

Jan, that certainly is a very nice series...great captures. What a beautiful warbler. I don't know what warbler that one is, but I'm just guessing that it's a black-and-white warbler.
