I wonder if all the fire damage in the Smoky's has pushed this group into the open fields of Cades Cove which was spared? We may never know but you sure got lucky on this trip. I've been there many a "bearless" time but did see lots of deer and wild turkey.

I like very much your images but have to join with quagmire and hnd so you can tell us to what distance the bear mom allowed you to come to and what power lens you used?
