Thanks to all for your great comments and recommendations. They have really been helpful!!
Nikon is trying to move existing stock of 750 and 810 cameras either they have new models coming out or a backlog of cameras. Either way it is good for the consumer.
I purchased one a couple years back and it has always performed well, it came with a kit lens 24-120 f/4 Nano coating a very respectable lens, a lot better than the older 24-120 was.
The prices are right now.
Cheers.

It's better than that. You can get it at the usual price, but with a free Nikon battery grip. Buy it before this goes away!
I looked for, but couldn't find that at B&H. Do you have a link?

I bought one last year and love it. In fact I bought a Nikon refurbished as well. It more than satisfies my needs. My only con would be that the fastest shutter speed is 1/4000th of a second. If that is a problem, l just bump up the ISO, although 1/8000 would be heaven. I have the battery pack as well, but only use that (adds weight) if I will be shooting for an extended period of time. Since my knees do not work well, I love the articulating screen. Colors are great and it accepts a whole host of prime lenses. I should add that it handles my Tamron 15-30mm as well as the newer 150-600mm G2 lenses. I am upgrading most of my lenses to primes and the quality is superb. I do mostly travel and family photos, but closeups and macros are fantastic with the D750.

I found it at B&H search for free battery grip; $500 cheaper than Best Buy. (approx $1,500.00)
Yes it's either the battery grip or the lens (seems like they're giving you $500.00 off. If I had time, I'd call B&H and see if I could get both...

How I would love to have that articulated monitor.
I had the Nikon D5100 previously and loved the screen on that one...not sure if it was called articulating or something else -my mind is drawing a blank at the moment, but it did have the full swivel, and I loved it. .....hopefully the screen on D750 will be easy to adjust to.
I skipped over several models that had a stand still screen, your comment makes me think that was a wise decision. :-)

Adorama has the d750 with the free battery grip and the 24-120 lens for 1996.
https://www.adorama.com/inkd750k1g.html Tempting....very tempting....but currently diving deeper and deeper into remodeling my kitchen. I keep telling myself....the 7200 is great....
Put down the paint brush, step away from the counter! Its a 750 for fifteen hundred bucks man! two saw horse and a piece of plywood and you have a functional kitchen, besides you're going to be out with your NEW camera all the time anyway.
GAS logic. The money you will save by buying that D750 you can upgrade your kitchen fixture's for your remodel. :-)
The D750 is a great Full Frame camera, BUT depending on what type of photography you plan on doing it may not be the right camera for you. Can you describe what you plan on shooting with this camera and how you plan on using it. Do you currently have Nikon Lenses? What's you experience level at photography?
You really need to answer these questions before you dive into a camera purchase.
I have the 750 I bought last year. And.........I love it! It's the camera that brought me back to this great hobby!
