This Amarylis shot is very close to SOOC. The flower is the first from a bulb that was given to me this spring. I am delighted that it produced a beautiful flower so quickly. Please take a look at the download.

Thank you Karin. I shot this flower this morning but I was not satisfied with the cluttered background so I went out a few minutes ago and did it right!

Thank you Linda. Yes, it is hand held. I was using a D5300 and 18-140 lens. This is a fairly light combo. I mostly use a tripod when using a long lens.

Thank you Joe. I was kind of inspired on this one. I shot it this morning and wasn't happy with the results so I changed my approach and did it again just a short while ago.

Thanks Donna. Someone gave my sister some extra bulbs this spring and she shared with me. I had no idea what color it would be but it turned out to be a beauty.
