Is the first one an owl though? Coloring, beak and legs looks wrong for a great horned. But I am not an authority on backs of birds as much so I am just asking.

Hi Greg, and I've been looking for years to find owls and now 2 in 2 days. Terry (Candidcanon) was at Magee Marsh and got some owl shots. Erv and I are heading there Saturday and I think Terry is going too. Glad you like the set and thanks for stopping in for a look.

I was thinking a Snowy Owl at first glance but the rest do look like what I was expecting. Once you start shooting owls you kind of get hooked on them, I know I have and I'll drive 100 miles just to be able to photograph them. Nice find, stay with them and you may be able to photograph them through the Summer and into the Fall.

Thanks RRS threw that first one in there on a curve LOL. Owls are awesome and I plan on going here many times. Hope to see the adult as well. So glad you like the set my friend.

Thanks Sylvia It was a very nice find I thank my friend who informed me about this nest. I met him up there and was not disappointed. Left work drove 60 miles for owl shots

Hi M.T. Lucky and thrilled. Very special thanks to the Metro Park Ranger who showed me the screech owl and my friend who informed me on this owl. Has been a fun couple of Days. Erv and I and Terry are heading to Magee Marsh up on Lake Erie Lots of birds, eagles, owls and wildlife there. Hope the weather permits. Glad you enjoyed the set and thanks for looking in.
