I hopped in the kayak and was out on the lake for
3 hours, and saw some interesting sights. I had a
heck of a time holding the camera still for the shots.
this time I did more paddling than I did trolling...
even thought I couldn't get the kind of shots I wanted,
It was fun!

Lovely series MT. You need an little electric motor on that kayak so you don't have to paddle LoL.

thank you john! i do have a trolling motor on the kayak...if you will go to my topics page 2 title
if i want to skedaddle i don't have to paddle...you will see some shots of it. my husband built the
portable wooden thingy that we put the motor on. if i don't want to troll, i can just leave it off.
i always take the motor along and troll and paddle...if it's a calm day and not windy, i do more paddling.

How fun! Especially love the lake view image (#1). Did you take a water proof camera with you?

thank you very much suntouched! it was lots of fun. I don't have a water proof camera...I
just used my canon sx60 bridge camera. lucky me I didn't turn the boat over or splash the camera while paddling and trolling...lol.
I should check out water proof cameras. do you have one?

merrytexan-
I haven't done any kayaking-yet- so no need for waterproof camera-yet :) The Willamette River goes through Salem Oregon (I spend summers there) and many do kayak- maybe this year will be the year. Olympus makes a point and shoot waterproof, shock proof camera that gets pretty good reviews. Not too expensive and easily picked up retail at Target, Walmart, etc.

thank you for your nice comment cathyann! no. one is my favorite...it is much easier to
get a good shot from a kayak like that than trying to zoom in and shoot up in the trees...!
