I have been eyeballing this lens for awhile (refurbished) while in Reno I actually won on a slot machine I was playing so I used the fund to get the lens. LOL Anyway, here are a few shots I took with it today, I am hoping to get out and about the next few days to get a better idea of what to expect with this lens...oh yeah it is my very first prime lens!

From the looks of it your camera and lens combination is focusing well. There doesn't appear to be any back focusing or front focusing. Camera shake must have made photo #2 blurry.

It's my favorite lens. Great for indoors but outdoors as well. I have a few other lenses. 18-55, 18-200, 80-400mm. Keep up the good work.

I love those shots of the little one. He seems to be enjoying his toys. The 35mm f1.8 is highly mentioned on this forum. I own the 50mm f1.8, and I will soon own the 35mm f1.8. It's inexpensive too.
