That was a moment to remember with the fisherman waving his arms and cursing at the Osprey.
The same thing happened the day before with another fisherman.
I tried to get a picture, but it was a blur.

Maybe next time???

It happened too fast. The Osprey was about 50 feet at the top of this tree
on the edge of the lake and without warning, the Osprey did a steep dive
for the fisherman's fish (Crappie) as he was reeling it in. Maybe next time.

I need a new word for jaw-dropping ..cause there are no word to describe my face when seeing this one.
I think this is something like (excelent x superb) + (gorgeous x astonishing)

:)

Very beautyful Regis, his face expression, his focus in the eyes and the grate detail makes this a winner.

happy Easter

That's good to know, Regis. I personally think that the 100-400 is a great close up lens too. so I agree with you there. but I was happy to see how sharp that lens was using the 2x when everyone on here seems to think it does the opposite

Regis wrote:
I still have it and use it for close-up photography because it will focus down to 3 feet. So, the Canon 100-400 II
is a keeper because it is a great lens and sometimes the zoom feature comes in handy. But, I can't use the 2x with this lens.
However, the 1.4x works great. So, the 2x used with the DO, gives that extra reach that I need with bird photography.

Thank you very much, foathog.
